Here are a few pics and a tiny update to what we have been up to this month with the kids of our foundation. Besides working towards our future goal (hopefully next year) of having 4 new class rooms as well as opening a kindergarden, we have managed to fit in some special activities and outings for the kids this passed month of October.

The kids had a great time, and a big thanks to everyone who made this possible. We wouldn't have been able to do it without you.

Happy B'day to the most adorable little angel!!!!

We spoiled him from morning to night, and he deserved every second of it.

He woke up to pancakes with chocolate chips (his fav) and had the party, went for ice-cream and rides in the afternoon.

Today we had a family day outing and went to a nearby lake to go fishing. The kids really wanted to, but I was a bit worried since a big ingredient in any fishing outing is a whole lot of patience. But they were so persistent that we went, and to my amazement, in the first 5 min. Jono caught his first fish, and from then on kept on being the fishing star. He caught the most of all. Xavi struggled cause it took him a while, but at the end he caught the biggest one, and that had him content the rest of the morning. Here are a few pics of our adventure.

Jono is becoming quite the talent with music... he loves singing, always tries to put on shows copying his latest music heros (Stem and Justin Bieber, Delcan) It is so adorable, cause he really sings super nice and puts quite the show with his little cool moves, ha.

Here are a few pics of him singing and Rocking to the song Sixth Gear, his all time fav.

I told him that the guys who sing usually write there own songs, and since he is doing much better with his spelling, he spends a good amount of his family times "writing" songs. He has also started with this new fashion of translating the songs he likes to spanish. The other day he was colouring and I heard him singing, "Ohohohoh, tengo que irme a ganar un alma, por que es que importa, este a-o vamos a estar en sixth gear..." it was so cute.

The kids had an excursion to a restaurant to eat pizza. It was a super nice place so I took advantage of the time waited for the food to arrive to have a little photo shoot. They were very patient and I guess they understood there mommy's need to have memories of every single moment... and they actually enjoyed it. I hope you do to.

Here are a few pics of our vacation. We went to Los LLanos to watch Rodeo. It was a fun and different experience and the one who enjoyed it the most was Natty, she would spend hours watching the cows and horses and when the cowboys would catch the cow she would get all excited.

We got them little cowboy hats which they all wore quite happily, plus it was SUPER hot all the time.

We stayed at a Finca with nothing else but a very grouchy ostrich and the kids had a blast watching him eat, and watching Andres and Gabriel bother him.

The kindergarden that the boys went to celebrated c'mas a bit early, and they both participated in the christmas pagent of the school.

They both did so well and sang with there whole heart. They finished the school year perfect, and they both speak spanish now!

Xavi was a sheep, and he took it super seriously even pretending to eat the green paper that was suppose to be the grass. Ha.

Jono had to memorize some lines to say as the shepherd. It was the first time he had to talk in public and memorize in spanish, but to our amazment, he was the only shepherd who remembered his lines completely and say it wonderful. Don't I just have spectacular kids?

The kindergarden the kids go to had an art expo, its was so cute and creative and the boys were so proud showing me all they did during this semester. We took advantage to walk around the mall, look at the fish, decorations and even made friends with a doggie.

During the SSA academy the kids came to visit me once. Jono had been asking for a flowter, so I got him and Xavi one. It was so cute to see Jono trying to encourage Xavi to "get in the deep side cause the flowter was going to keep him up." But poor Xavi just bobbed around like a cork, and couldn't really manage it, ha!

Xavis B'day
Here are a few pics from the bday party we had yesterday for my Xavi Babi. The boys decided since it had an animal theme that the most appropiate was to dress up as cats, so they did and had a great time. Natty as you will see, didn't get her eyes or fingers of the cake, and they all had fun playing with the presents of Xavi.

During our visit with Abuelitos, a friend invited the kids to a Nature/Farm interactive park, they were able to feed animals, see how the silk worm cycle (did you know that from one cocoon of a silk worm you can get 1500 meters of thread?) see all kinds of animals, we toured the park on a carriage, etc. It was so fun and we all learn a lot.

I am really sorry I haven´t been posting recently. Things have been haywire... the kids put my only pair of rechargable batteries in there new Thomas train set, so no camara. Then my computer decided to break down, and then when it was better, I had to reformat it cause there was a b unch of computer viruses going around. That is just to make a long story short... hehe.
Well a lot of things have been going on since my last post, the kids are bigger, more adorable, Natty is a little parrot and Xavi started going to school! Kaylee´s birthday was this month, so I am posting some pics from the b´day party and some from a family day dress up we had, sorry I dont have more, but will try to catch up asap.

Its a virus that affects them all in different ways, but they have all had extremely high fevers for a few days at a time. Please pray they get better, and for my strength as well cause its been some exhausting nights.

Today some one gave us some clothes for our CTP and we were sorting it out. The girls had woken up from nap and were quite entertained at the prospect of helping us sort the clothes and after a while they wanted to model them for us as well. They picked out these shirts that ending up looking like little dresses on them, so my mom, always ready to capture any cute moment, asked to to take some pictures of them.
They honestly were a mess (well at least Natty), hair wise. But I figured you might want to see how the kids look when they are not all picture perfect, so I decided to just post them anyway.

Okay, so I know... I am a hopeless case and I admit it, I am totally in love with my children, the way the laugh, smile, dance, sing, run, jump, play, etc. But what's the point in life if you don't feel that amazing love that a parent has for their children! I could never imagine my life differently, or change anything, no matter how annoying they can get at times (and believe me they can be!)
Dear Ralph Waldo Emerson knew what he was saying when he stated, "There never was a child so lovely, but his mother was glad to get him asleep." But no matter what, they make life perfect.

It was Kaylee's (my niece) groups turn to do a show at school, and again we took Xavi, but my mom wanted to take Natty along to. I just crossed my fingers and hoped for the best, as she can sometimes get fussy and not have a lot of patience when it comes to concentrating for longer then 5 min! But since my mom was so insistent, I put her a little skirt and a flower in her hair and she was ready to go.
It turns out that she had a great time, and even behaved like a princess. She even made her way into the area where the children danced and modeled on the runway there costumes and silletas. She watched the teachers dance, she sang, clapped, looked at the school pets and had a blast.
She did keep true to her nature though when snack time came around and she ate all her food and then went to all the other grandparents groups to ask for some more yum yum, ha! No tiene pena de nada!

The kids have been attending music class every Friday, and it has been super fun. At first they were all together, but then I realized that Jono needed to be in a group for older children as he wasn't really challenged with the kids stuff, so he was able to change groups and Natty started going as well. She is such a musical, well all of them are, but she loves it! Here are a few pics and some videos. Most, if not all the photos are of Natty, cause Xavi decided to be in a bad mood that afternoon and didn't want his picture taken, and Jonathan goes to his class on his own, but I'll try to sneak in next time to capture the moment.

As some of you already know some friends we have who are the owners of a Kinder Garden have allowed us to take 2 of the kids every morning to school. It has been a very good experience for them, cause not only are they keeping a better schedule and socializing more, they are also learning spanish much quicker now. Jonathan has more friends, which is something he has always wanted and he is always asking if we can invite his friends and teacher over.
The feria de flores started the 31rst so the Kinder invited the parents and grandparents over for a little desfile and show from the kids. Here are some pictures and the links of the videos so you can see them.

The kids discovered a brilliant game today. I left them in the room with some dominoes and when I came back I discovered that they had divided them up between themselves and they were each sitting on little piles of them. When I asked them what they were doing they said they were birds and those were their eggs. They sat still on their “nests” for a delightfully long time, giving us all an unusually quiet afternoon…the blessings of Animal Planet :)

Xavi (2): “I’m having blue birds! And Kaylee is having ostriches! And Jono is having snakes”

Me:“Wow! When will they hatch?”

Xavi: (quizzical stare)

Me: “Are your eggs hatching?”

Sorry I have been lost, but I had a good reason. We were organizing our foundations 10th aniversary, yuppie! Its amazing how fast time flys!

Honestly the pictures don't do justice, and the program came out beautiful. A lot of little details, like the decoration had to be changed last minute, but as always, the Lord punched through and it was a success. Here are a few pics so you can see and enjoy.

We went to the Ludoteka again today and like always they had a great time. Then Jono and Xavi participated in an art and craft activity they were doing and made kites.

When we were leaving in the little plaza of the CC we found a boy renting cars for the kids to drive. It wasn't expensive to I decided to let them have a go. They had 7 min of extreme fun! They actually did super good for there first time.

Jonathan has been such a good older brother since he arrived from Cali, really in tune with the needs of Natty and Xavi, making sure they have what they need, are safe when we go out, etc.
